Microsoft Senior VB.NET Developer

Come Grow with Us and Join an Award-Winning Organization! Stearns Bank is looking for a Microsoft Senior VB.NET Developer. This is a remote-eligible position headquartered out of St. Cloud, Minnesota. 

JOB SUMMARY: This position will work on building and maintaining internal Windows Desktop applications core to the company using Visual Studio 2019 with SQL Server Database backend. The Microsoft VB.NET Developer will also support our Excel and Word users with (VBA) programming updates and fixes as necessary. This position will work closely with a full-stack development team, creating applications from idea to implementation. This position requires a passion for coding, and an appreciation of collaboration!

 

Starting annual salary of $120,000.00. Employment offers will be dependent upon the selected candidate’s relevant qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with the HelpDesk, IT Department, Business Analysts, Finance Teams and Users to solve problems, fix and enhance internal products.
• Take an active role in understanding and enhancing our code base
• Be proactive about documentation, including, but not limited to: code comments, end-user instructions, technical specifications, development processes, etc.

 

Requirements

• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, twist, bend, sit, walk use hands to twist, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, such as computer mouse, computer keyboard, calculator, stapler, telephone, staple puller, etc., reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
