Earn weekly pay with BDS! We are looking for a dedicated, detail-driven, and solutions-oriented Commercial Project Manager to help implement the strategic vision of our Microsoft client. You will be a crucial member at the content platform level of Microsoft’s WW Device Partner Sales (DPS) team. Reporting to our Sr. Manager, Global Commercial Content and Community, you will project manage several key aspects of the team including day-to-day editorial calendar management, proofing, review, publishing, and operational needs of ExpertZone—our LMS platform for Commercial audiences—and support other platforms and initiatives as needed. You will assist with implementation and management of global promotions and programs, drive stakeholder engagement and collaboration, and assist in workflow road mapping, planning, localized content management, communication, and more.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background and ideally will have worked within an LMS environment. This role will have high visibility to our Microsoft client, so the right candidate must have excellent standards of client interaction and communication as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both partner agencies and internal stakeholders/colleagues.

Compensation

$75,000 - $80,000 per year with bonus potential

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with all client stakeholders, vendors, partners, and internal teams to drive labor strategy and cross functional deliverables
  • Drive strong client and partner vendor relationships by solving problems in a proactive and strategic way as directed by Manager
  • Oversee day-to-day project management, including cycle updates, REP Tool administration, rhythm of business deliverables (meeting cadance, agendas, deck creation and quarterly reports), and more
  • Assist in implementing strategies and tactics to best drive learning objectives and key metrics
  • Collaborate with the Influence and Visual merchandising teams to understand the audience types we serve, how to best deliver guidance to these audiences, and provide as-needed backup support for other Partner Readiness deliverables
  • Responsible for working within a set of assigned hours for client projects & campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, operations management, or process/change management
  • 1-2 years of previous Operations Management/Execution in a complex vendor agency setting preferred
  • Knowledge of Adobe Captivate Prime LMS platform highly preferred
  • Experience with LMS platform, content execution, publishing, and platform management
  • Experience supporting field marketing programs within the consumer/commercial electronics industry
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft products and services such as Windows, Office, Microsoft 365, Surface, Xbox, Commercial etc. highly preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating projects with multiple departments and agency staff members over varying deadline scales and timezones

Skills and Attributes:

  • Knowledge and background in project management, understanding of labor strategy, and 3PL field labor
  • Extremely strong skills and fluency in MS Office (particularly PowerPoint and Teams) required
  • Possesses an understanding of the digital marketing and communications landscape to support integrated programs
  • Strong ability to execute and manage process workflows along with excellent problem solving, tactical, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage conflicts and difficult situations both internally (project-based) and externally (client-based) and see things from another’s point of view—particularly when thinking about diversity, inclusion, and accessibility
  • Maintains awareness and understanding of new marketing/communications technologies and techniques and excels at researching opportunities/trends within the CE landscape
