Position Summary

The Manager of Clinical Research is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective implantation of research protocols from protocol development through long-term follow up. The Manager provides effective project management of multiple complex clinical projects; develops and drives timelines and adjusts expectations as necessary; ensures quality clinical research performance; communicates effectively with diverse stakeholders; produces training, and study specific materials; develops new clinical research sites suitable for conducting rigorous clinical trials; assists in the build of the clinical trial business; develops strategies to increase rapid subject recruitment and champions department growth and efficiency. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of business management, healthcare, nursing, science or related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Eight (8) years of experience in clinical research
• Three (3) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $99,549.00 - $143,229.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
