As the Medicare Advantage Program Management & Operations Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of innovative MA products, programs and initiatives to meet the needs of our members and exceed business goals. Your role will involve planning, cross-functional collaboration, execution and performance management to deliver exceptional MA products that align with regulatory requirements, business needs and market demands. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of MA products and operations to maintain a member-centric approach to design and program execution.

As the Medicare Advantage Program Management & Operations Manager, you will:

  • Partner with the Director, MA Products on the development and implementation of existing and future MA products, initiatives and programs that align with the organization's strategic goals and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as operations, network, finance, clinical, sales, and marketing, to ensure seamless product execution, performance, and effective communication of MA products to members and providers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of MA products and programs, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring products meet or exceed performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product and operations innovation and differentiation.
  • Focus on enhancing the member experience through effective program design, implementation and proactive engagement initiatives. 
  • Support budgets and financial performance for MA products,  programs and initiatives, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects related to MA products and operational initiatives, ensuring milestones, documentation, and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Develop and present reports to senior leadership on product performance, including data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Within the first 90 days, you will gain a thorough understanding of current MA products and programs, build key partnerships, review performance data, explore improvement opportunities, and begin developing plans and execute programs, initiatives and product enhancements.
  • By the end of your first 6 months, you will advance product development, programs and execution to present recommendations and outcomes to leadership, and implement changes based on feedback.
  • Success in this role will be defined by your capability to evaluate the outcomes of implemented initiatives on both product performance and key indicators. Your adeptness in adjusting strategies and initiatives based on these evaluations and your proficiency in delivering a comprehensive plan alongside detailed performance reports to leadership will be key indicators of your success.

  • You have proven expertise (minimum of 5-7 years of experience) in Program Management and Operations, showcasing successful execution of strategic initiatives and program management.
  • Advanced Analytical skills for translating complex data into actionable insights, guiding strategic decisions, and optimizing performance. SQL knowledge is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in crafting compelling decks and documentation to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills, facilitating effective collaboration across teams and with external partners, and adept at presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Project Management Abilities, managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Strategic Vision to align business operations with broader organizational goals.
  • Business Acumen to drive growth and success through data-driven decisions.

For candidates residing in other geographic areas, the range will be adjusted based on location. Final pay is based on several factors including but not limited to internal equity, market data, and the applicant’s education, work experience, certifications, etc.

$104,800 - $144,000 USD

California/New Jersey/New York Pay Range
$104,800 - $160,000 USD
