About the Job
The role of the Medical Records Associate is to manage and fulfill the requests for medical records for Thriveworks clients, third parties, subpoenas, and payors.
Compensation: $19.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Review and respond to medical records requests for client information.
Ensure the protection and proper distribution of any protected or confidential information.
Ensure accurate and timely responses to requests.
Basic Qualifications
Ability to utilize various computer programs.
Willingness to learn new systems and procedures.
Self-motivated organizational skills, with the ability to follow a priority structure.
Excellent communication skills, with a good sense of humor.
Thrive in a remote-only work environment as part of a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or work-related equivalent.
1 year of experience with medical records requests or similar.
Knowledge of electronic health records programs.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Working knowledge of healthcare privacy laws, such as HIPAA.
