Medical Coding Document Analyst

KLDiscovery, one of the largest national eDiscovery providers, is currently seeking experienced medical coders who desire an engaging work environment where they are valued and respected for upcoming Cyber Incident Response projects.
Document Review Analysts will review documents for Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Protected Health Information (PHI) using various electronic review platforms. This position is project-based and successful candidates will be considered temporary contingent employees.

Position Details
- Remote work-from-home opportunity
- Pay rate: $22 per hour
- Duration depends on the project; opportunities vary from 1 week to 6 months; possibly longer.
- Flexible scheduling; must be able to commit to a minimum of 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between 9 AM and 5 PM ET
- Overtime may be available based on individual project demands, at the discretion of the end client.
Qualifications & Requirements
- An associate degree or equivalent is required.
- 1+ years of medical coding experience is required.
- An Electronic Health Records Specialist Certificate (CEHRS) or a similar professional coding certification is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- An ability to retain and follow complex work direction.
- An ability to accurately track and enter hours.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An optimistic approach to all tasks and responsibilities.
- High proficiency in the use of modern technology, especially computers, and related remote work office equipment.
- Experience in electronically reviewing documents using our various review platforms including Relativity, Canopy, and Nebula is preferred but not required.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in computer-based data entry experience is preferred but not required.
- A secure home office with high-speed internet access and a computer that uses Windows 10/11 or Mac: Monterey (12), Ventura 13), Sonoma (14), or newer is required.
