Mechanical Engineer (Hybrid Remote)

This position allows for 2-3 days per week remote / work from home. Salary: $85,000 - 100,000/yearAs part of our commitment to innovation and excellence, we are seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, manufacturing engineers, and vendors to ensure designs meet functional requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and cost targets.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications for parts and assemblies.
- Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure designs conform to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform engineering calculations and simulations as needed to validate designs.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product quality and manufacturability.
- Manage design changes and revisions throughout the product lifecycle.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and materials to enhance product performance and innovation.
- Support prototype builds and testing activities, and iterate designs based on test results.
- Document design processes, decisions, and results thoroughly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience (1+ years) in mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor software.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Experience with tolerance analysis and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical information effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
