Position Summary/Job Duties:

Hello - our busy family is looking for someone to come to our home one day per week to cook up to 5 Home Chef meals, label them and place them in our freezer. We are in the multiple sports every night and weekend season of life and trying to cram this into an already busy weekend is just taking it's toll on us.

Ideal for a student, retiree, or stay-at-home parent. We are open to someone doing it from their own kitchen and just dropping off (for the right candidates only; this is ideal for an at-home parent during preschool or nap times!).

Home Chef provides step by step directions with pictures. We have extra containers and will provide all equipment or items needed. It will be required that our kitchen is left as clean if not cleaner than we had when you arrived. We are flexible on the date/time of week and woudld arrange the boxes arrival accordingly such as the day before your cook day, or right to your home if you are doing this from your own home and that works better for you.

Interested parties need to send a resume so we can learn more about your background (future cooking interest is not required) and a brief email describing why you enjoy cooking and what day of the week would work best for you. While flexible, the day of the week needs to stay consistent on a semester basis so we can arrange deliveries of food accordingly. We're happy to change it with advanced notice of 3 weeks out.

We can also survive without this help so are flexible around vacations, finals, etc. We would just need 2 weeks notice so we can plan accordingly. Thanks for your interest!!!

Qualifications:

Enjoys cooking, decent at cooking, able to follow basic directions and apply common sense on things that maybe can't be frozen such as finishing toppings that wouldn't freeze well. Clean, able to ensure kitchen is clean and all items used are cleaned and handled per the directions (i.e. safe with raw meat kind of thing).
