Collins Engineering Enablement & Solutions (EE&S) organization has an opportunity for a Senior Analyst with a passion for problem solving and satisfying customer needs in the development of hardware solutions for internal Engineering customers. This specific opportunity will be focused on development, integration, and sustainment activities related to our Mechanical Computer Aided Design (MCAD) tools.

What YOU will do:

  • You will effectively manage MCAD data management environment through an administrative role.

  • You will debug server logs.

  • You will support configuration, customizations, and upgrades of mechanical hardware.

  • You will identify new tool capabilities and plan development projects.

  • You will design, test, implement, document, and support technical application solutions for Siemen’s products.

  • You will work with SW developers to ensure scripts/code meet user requirements (enhancements/updates/etc.).

  • You will critically analyze functional specifications for options, feasibility, and sustainability.

  • You will interface with application suppliers.

  • You will interact with the end customer on technical issues which require subject matter expert support.  Drive issues to closure.

  • You will develop and facilitate application user training.

  • You will learn how to lead the development and configuration of workflows and supporting applications. 

Education & Experience:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

  • Experience with mechanical/engineering design processes.

  • Must also be willing and able to travel (domestic and international) (minimum 10% domestically).

Skills We Value:

  • Expertise with Siemens NX CAD tools, 

  • Experience with design tool administration.

  • Work management within an Agile framework.

  • Either possess, or be able to obtain, a security clearance.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
