Position Overview
The Master Teacher of Fine Arts at Stellar Virtual will lead and mentor a team of educators, ensuring the highest quality of virtual instruction across our platform. This role is critical in fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment, guiding teachers to excel in their instructional practices, and enhancing student outcomes. The Master Teacher will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering a robust Fine Arts curriculum, ensuring that students engage in creative, high-quality learning experiences in a virtual environment.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Mentor and coach teachers to improve instructional practices and student engagement in a virtual setting.

  • Lead professional development sessions, workshops, and training focused on innovative virtual teaching methods.

  • Provide feedback and support for lesson planning, classroom management, and effective use of digital tools.

  • Develop and implement model lessons that exemplify best practices in virtual instruction.

  • Collaborate with the curriculum team to design and refine curriculum materials that meet the diverse needs of students.

  • Ensure that instructional strategies align with the latest educational research and technological advancements.

  • Analyze student performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.

  • Work with teachers to set goals and develop action plans to improve student outcomes.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of instructional strategies and interventions, making adjustments as necessary.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration among teachers, encouraging the sharing of resources and strategies.

  • Communicate regularly with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and practices.

  • Serve as a liaison between teachers and the administration to address concerns and implement improvements.

  • Provide constructive feedback to teachers, emphasizing growth and development.

  • Lead efforts to standardize and enhance instructional practices across the platform.



Knowledge, Skills & Attributes


  • Preferred minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a virtual or blended learning environment with a concentration in Fine Arts (varies).

  • Proven track record of mentoring or coaching other teachers.

  • Experience with curriculum development and instructional design for virtual platforms.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Expertise in virtual instructional strategies, including the use of digital tools and resources.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive instructional decisions.

  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing virtual environment.


Education & Certification Requirements


  • A Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field is preferred; a bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Valid teaching certification in Texas.
