Summary:

Ferguson seeks a creative and highly organized Web Content Marketing Specialist to support the coordination and execution of digital marketing strategy initiatives. The Specialist will partner with customer group strategy, digital strategy, and digital merchandisers to ensure the Ferguson.com experience is optimized across customer journeys.

This role will be responsible for bringing relevant, engaging web content strategies to life. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who has passion for getting things done (and done well), strong communication skills and enjoys being part of a fast-moving marketing team.

Location:

This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid out of Ferguson's corporate offices in Newport News, VA or Chico, CA in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate website content projects with the creative team, ensuring collaborator objectives are achieved and content is engaging and actionable for the target audience.

  • Partner with digital strategy, digital merchandising, customer groups, integrated media, brand, and functional groups to align on shared web content calendars.

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the Senior Digital Strategist, to lead and develop web content campaigns supporting prioritized marketing initiatives.

  • Ensure marketing messaging and strategy priorities are clearly understood and represented with web content campaigns, and assets are delivered by pre-agreed upon deadlines.

  • Regularly audit and update content to ensure accuracy, SEO optimization, and ease of navigation.

  • Display strong internal/external customer service skills and receive positive feedback from internal and external clients.

  • Nurture relationships with key collaborators, including marketing business partners, integrated media channel owners, and brand strategy.

  • Provide web content recommendations for national campaigns, SEO initiatives and requests from collaborators.

  • Craft compelling, concise and persuasive copy for marketing web banners and ensure design elements adhere to CMS parameters.

  • Collaborate with copy, design, and multimedia production teams to ensure content adheres to brand standards while maintaining functionality.

  • Work with merchandising and marketing teams to ensure all landing pages used by marketing channels are optimized for conversion and/or engagement.

  • Foster key cross-functional relationships for monitoring and analyzing web content campaign performance, measuring metrics such as website traffic, engagement, and conversion rates to enhance future strategies.

  • Monitor competition and seasonality.

  • Have first-hand knowledge and ability to communicate website education and informational page strategy to all levels within the organization.

  • Ensure all marketing web content projects follow SEO best practices and guidelines set by SEO team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related strongly preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • 4 - 6 years of marketing, content, sales or merchandising experience.

  • Superior communications and follow-up skills.

  • Project Management Ability: Implement and organize projects with multiple contributors from different departments, with the ability to work within tight deadlines.

  • Experience working with creative teams bringing content to life.

  • Basic understanding of digital experience UX/UI standard methodologies.

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.

  • Growth Mindset: Able to embrace challenges and strong desire to learn.

  • Self-starter: Someone who seeks a solution on their own.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to juggle multiple challenging tasks and demands.

  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to connect with customers, vendors and team members. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and subtlety.

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$4,124.70 - $6,783.70

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
