Our corporate office is looking to hire a Marketing Support Specialist who will work directly with our sales team to support and execute on their marketing and event planning efforts. In this role, you would partner with a team of Regional Vice Presidents to support them with: collateral needs, branch communication, monthly newsletter, event ideas, promotion, and execution. You will serve as the first point of contact for all marketing-related activity in their assigned regions.
This role requires superior communication skills, the ability to manage projects efficiently, provide creative contributions, and be adaptable within a fast-paced environment. In this role, you must be comfortable with technology and have a passion for developing relationships, both internally and externally.
This is a remote eligible role with associated travel up to 30-40%.

Job Functions
Market Development & Event Management
Partner with assigned Sales reps and Internal Sales team member to develop and support their annual marketing plans (e.g. prospecting events, campaigns, etc.) and manage pre-sales marketing needs in assigned regions
Communicate with Content and Events team to implement productive events and compliance approval of external facing collateral.
Collaborate with Brand and Content to develop market development collateral that maximizes referral generation and delivers a good understanding of our value proposition (e.g. one-pagers, emails, landing pages, presentations, etc.)
Collaborate with external partners, and Partner Programs teams to assist in generating referrals to Wealth Enhancement
Responsible for following regional budget for referral generating activities
Send Marketing email communications to external partners (written by the Communications Specialist)
Relationship Management
Foster a strong working connection with Regional Vice Presidents in assigned regions.
Build strong positive working relationships with internal partners.
Build rapport with regional network of external partner contacts.
Plan and lead regional growth meetings within assigned regions.
Proficient knowledge of Wealth Enhancement’s planning services.
Proficient knowledge of Wealth Enhancement’s suite of sales & marketing collateral.
Team and Systems Support
Contribute to support team inbox responses.
Meeting and schedule coordination for program management meetings & new hires.
Occasionally assist with planning broader team in-person gatherings.
Maintain strong knowledge of program-specific systems and rules of engagement.
Work with broader team to provide data management and systems support to sales reps in assigned regions.
Education/Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in business; marketing, communications or related
4 years of Relationship Management, Market Development, or Marketing experience, preferably in financial services
Proven success in event planning
Exceptional customer service and relationship management traits
Experience effectively managing multiple projects
Well organized, excellent attention to detail including proofreading
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Familiarity with Salesforce and Support Org functionality
Experience with Workday preferred
WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Manager level is $$67,300 to $97,600.
