What you’ll be doing:

This is by no means a “behind-the-scenes" role, as your work will help the company serve patients daily in a multitude of ways.

Marketing Specialists are responsible for the integration and execution of marketing initiatives to enable the Professional Relations Liaisons (PRL) team to drive results. They straddle the line between the Marketing Operations team and the Field Marketing team and play a critical role in ensuring the PRL team is set up for success. The Field Marketing Specialist collaborates others to develop and execute the marketing strategy and communication plan for thought leadership, academic programs, and market growth initiatives. They must have a thorough understanding of each role on the team and may provide backup support if needed. This person will contribute to the development and distribution of marketing materials, program coordination and KPI reporting.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with leaders to coordinate thought leadership and academic strategy based on regional and national business needs. Creates and manages documentation to support thought leadership and academic initiatives, ensuring compliance with submission deadlines and accreditation standards.
  • Maintains thought leadership and academic programs database, collaborating with AP team, field team, People Team and/or IT to facilitate access to required systems and marketing materials and tools.
  • Collaborates with AP, field and digital marketing teams to build and deliver email, social, and web marketing strategy for thought leadership and academic program initiatives.
  • Responsible for master thought leadership and academic program calendar, events coordination and execution, and KPI reporting.
  • Works with Academic Programs (AP) team, clinical and field leaders, and the People Team to develop and implement thought leadership and academic program marketing strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, psychology, or related field required.
  • 2+ years’ experience in marketing, event coordination, continuing education, and/or academic program coordination.
  • Excellent organization, time management, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM database, knowledge of continuing education accreditation, proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, Teams, Zoom preferred.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, which may include working occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation starting range for the Marketing Specialist - Chicago role is $64,000 to $86,000. Ranges are based upon market expectations and are dependent upon candidate experience.
