About this role

Astronomer is seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role on our marketing team. This individual will be instrumental in optimizing our Marketing Operations to drive efficiency and effectiveness across our global campaigns. With a strong background in Salesforce, Marketo, and project management, the ideal candidate will ensure that our marketing efforts are seamlessly executed and aligned with our business objectives. Astronomer has both a Sales and PLG motion so expertise in both is preferred. 

What you get to do:

  • Develop and implement strategies for marketing automation and operational excellence using Salesforce and Marketo.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of B2B marketing campaigns to meet business objectives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing and sales alignment, leveraging CRM and marketing automation tools to streamline processes.

  • Management and co-ordination of global marketing campaigns and launches

  • Analyze and report on marketing performance, using data to inform future marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in marketing operations and technology, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

What you bring to the role:

  • Proficient in Salesforce and Marketo, with a strong understanding of marketing automation best practices.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing PLG strategies and executing successful B2B marketing campaigns.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of managing complex, global marketing projects.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with teams across different geographies.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus points if you have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in a tech-focused B2B environment.

  • Experience in Account and Intent scoring.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Experience with Lean Data.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $115,000 - $130,000 based on leveling and geography, along with an equity component and a comprehensive benefits package. This range is merely an estimate, and the width of the range reflects willingness to consider candidates with broad prior seniority. Actual compensation may deviate from this range based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
