Overview
The Marketing Operations Specialist is part of the Sales and Business Services department, which resides on the Marketing and Communications team and reports to the Marketing Operations Manager. The Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the flow of campaigns and projects within the Marketing and Communications team. This position will assist the Marketing Operations Manager to facilitate the execution and prioritization of all efforts within the Marketing and Communications team, specifically focused on collaboration with the SBS Operations team. This position is also responsible for facilitating events and email marketing, while supporting all high-impact marketing campaigns and projects that align with CIS objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing strategy and campaign management background.

Salary Range: $60,500 - $103,600 We offer a competitive total rewards package at the Center for Internet Security:

What You'll Do
- Support the implementation and management of Agile methodologies within the Marketing and Communications team
- Coordinate and communicate email marketing efforts with the Pardot team and internally to the Marketing and Communications team
- Resolve questions and bottlenecks to ensure on-time delivery
- Support the Marketing and Communication event sponsorship implementation efforts and work cross-functionally with other CIS teams (Events, Sales, etc.) to ensure a successful presence
- Assist with collecting campaign and project details and tracking them from ideation to completion
- Assist with the communication of campaign and project progress, blockers, and completion to stakeholders at various levels of leadership
- Support continuous improvement of internal team processes
- Ensure appropriate brand guidelines standards and practices are employed
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or other related discipline*
- 2+ years of experience working in marketing or advertising
- 1+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams
- Understanding of Jira, Optimizely, Trello, Shortcut, or Asana, including experience implementing Agile frameworks within them and integrating between platforms
- Strong understanding of various marketing channels (digital, social media, email, content, etc.)
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
It's a Plus if You Have:
- Experience using email marketing tools (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce) for marketing automation
- Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to measure performance
- Analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making
- Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry
*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
