About the Role:

As the Manager, Marketing Operations you will oversee the technology stack for our Marketing Organization. This includes management and administration of marketing automation, as well as the ability to leverage business intelligence tools.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Lifecycle Marketing, you’ll blend content optimization, audience segmentation, and executional tactics to maximize the effectiveness of our lifecycle marketing programs across email, SMS, and push notifications to drive improvements in customer lifetime value.

In this role, you’ll be managing the business-critical technology platforms (channel focus on email, SMS and push) to ensure they are functioning properly, and acting quickly to resolve any issues identified. You will also work closely with Marketing leadership to enact new and improved strategies, ensuring operational best practices are followed. This role is part of a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization which values teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Tools Oversight. You will manage multiple tools powering our marketing capabilities, including Braze, HighTouch, and several other marketing automation, AI, and analytics tools.
    • Identify and resolve technical issues proactively, including system errors, deliverability problems, and data discrepancies.
    • Assist with new and existing Martech evaluation, integration, and implementation/adoption.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end marketing campaigns across email, sms, and push ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
    • Code emails with HTML/CSS, build target audiences, coordinate creative needs with the design team, build workflows and dynamic logic in our CRM tool, measure the performance of campaigns.
    • Design and implement multivariate tests to optimize campaign performance and customer engagement.
  • Project Execution. As new marketing initiatives are introduced, you will be responsible for helping bring them to life from a technical perspective. This includes modifying existing solutions and developing brand new ones. This may also include HTML coding new templates and new languages to improve personalization and channel performance.
    • Maintain documentation on processes, configurations, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
  • 3rd Party Vendor/Contractor Relationship Management. We work closely with contractors who help us execute our vision and improve our capabilities. It will be your responsibility to translate requirements to these contractors. You will also collaborate with the vendors of our marketing technology to ensure we are using these systems in the best way possible.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing operations
  • Expert proficiency in Braze is required; Certifications are a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS; ability to both write and edit code.
  • Experience with SendGrid, HighTouch, Figma.
  • Knowledge of SQL, XML, JSON, Handlebars preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple brands, cross-functionally.
  • Highly experienced rolling out new processes or scaling and improving existing processes with demonstrated success metrics.
  • Experience project managing initiatives that span multiple teams and systems.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Details of Position & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $100k-115k
