H.B. Fuller Construction Adhesives provides technologically advanced solutions to the commercial, industrial and residential construction industry. The Marketing Manager will work across the H.B. Fuller Construction Adhesives (CA) business unit in driving category awareness, increasing brand recognition, managing customer engagement, and generating demand through traditional and online marketing channels. 

The Marketing Manager will seek out and understand the distinct audience profiles and purchase journeys within our diverse market segments to create a differentiated, relevant, and effective approach to support business profitability goals.  Reporting to the Global CA Marketing Director and in partnership with fellow team members, the candidate will focus on utilizing his/her knowledge in classic marketing tactics (such as PR, advertising, events, and product marketing) as well as expertise in digital technologies including web, mobile, email, social media, AI, etc. to optimize marketing investments and drive best-in-class execution.

Primary Responsibilities
Planning and Strategy

  • Liaise with Digital Customer Experience, IT, and other key stakeholders on maximizing the value of our marketing technology stack to drive revenue and provide an exceptional customer experience.

  • Consult and partner with product management and marketing team members, sales, and technical groups to develop effective demand generation strategies and campaigns for our products and brands.

  • Provide data-driven input into the strategic planning and budgeting process, with a focus on driving strong ROI for marketing investments.

  • Conduct and/or commission market research as appropriate to collect VOC data, identify trends, and inform product and brand decisions.

Brand Image  

  • Understand and support the brand vision through careful execution of marketing efforts in accordance with visual brand guidelines, brand promise and overall brand strategy.

  • Develop and execute content aligned with the brand positioning, ensuring consistency, compliance, and integration across all messaging platforms.

  • Attract and engage external audiences and product end users in a way that is consistent with the brand voice, image, and overall corporate values.

Production & Execution  

  • Utilize best practices to scope, create, and manage Construction Adhesives content across traditional and digital channels in collaboration with global CA Marketing team members and third-party agency partners or resources.

  • Update and maintain internal and external website content on behalf of Construction Adhesives and serve as a business unit liaison for select projects with the Digital Customer Experience team.

  • Manage customer contact databases and lead generation activities to drive volume and traffic to H.B. Fuller websites, Sales teams, and product distributors.

Measurement and Reporting of Key Metrics

  • Develop KPI’s and report out on impact of initiatives monthly and/or quarterly.

  • Collaborate with sales to track market activities or campaigns to revenue where applicable.

  • Manage the work of external agencies and vendors to ensure best-in-class work product, according to budget and timelines.

  • Evaluate processes and vendors to ensure effectiveness, and improve where necessary

 Minimum Requirements

  • B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field

  • 7+ years of experience in a Marketing role

  • Expertise managing corporate social media accounts, email marketing, influencer marketing or lead generation programs to engage target audiences

  • A proven track record of creating and executing growth marketing campaigns

  • Strong analytical skills, especially as it relates to analyzing, and evaluating marketing campaign effectiveness

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to build consensus and engagement in Marketing programs, particularly those utilizing new or emerging technologies or channels

  • Effective project management skills with an ability to lead and engage in multiple, diverse projects simultaneously

  • Strong copywriting skills and knowledge of visual asset criteria relative to various communications vehicles/platforms

  • Ability to travel up to 15%, possibly internationally

Preferred Requirements

  • 7+years of experience in a Marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment, manufacturing, or construction

  • Experience working with global and/or remote teams

  • Expertise utilizing CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot

  • Familiarity with new product development and stage gate process

  • Knowledge of digital marketing technology including marketing automation, database management systems, digital asset management, and leveraging AI in Marketing

  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft 365

  • Genuine interest in manufacturing and/or technical product performance and characteristics

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $92,000 - $120,000.
