About The Role

We are looking for a Marketing Manager of Events who will serve as a key member of our Brand Strategy and will own our event and conference strategy and marketing. This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution of Nicheā€™s rich conference program, as well as virtual and in-person events for our industry partners, students, counselors, and families. By expanding brand awareness, deepening understanding, and strengthening relationships with our key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in driving business objectives.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand Strategy and will collaborate closely across departments to deliver compelling experiences. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in event marketing and management, with a demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally and executing data-driven event programs.Ā Ā

What You Will Do

During the First Month:

  • Learn about Niche by meeting with various team members to learn more about our company through our onboarding meetings
  • Collaborate with various team members to get a clear understanding of our users, partners, products, and current marketing strategies
  • Start building relationships and trust with key stakeholders across the Marketing, Creative, and Sales Teams
  • Develop an understanding of Nicheā€™s current events and conferences program, as well as the current stakeholders, budget, and processesĀ 
  • Partner closely with Brand Strategy Coordinator to execute industry and company events

Within 3 Months:

  • Execute a comprehensive audit of Nicheā€™s current events and conference calendar, start to make recommendations for the execution of H2 events and conferencesĀ 
  • Collaborate across teams to analyze the current strategy, develop a deep understanding of the ROI and impact of conferences, ā€¦
