Marketing & Events Specialist

Your role...
As a Marketing & Events Specialist, you will be responsible for executing marketing initiatives, campaigns, and generating the strategic and tactical resources needed to achieve our business goals. You will play a key role in driving brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This position requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to analyze data to optimize campaign performance.
Within 6 months you will...
- Manage event campaigns, including but not limited to project plans (ideation to completion), budget, content development, execution and evaluation of campaign effectiveness for multiple events (tradeshows and RSP events). Work closely with business development to identify event goals, content and promotion.
- Orchestrate seamless event experiences by taking ownership of all pre-event logistics, including venue selection, event flow design, promotion and communication, material production and shipping, budget management, travel arrangements, staffing, and post-event reporting. Your organizational skills will be essential.
- Proactively analyzes campaign results in Salesforce to measure impact and improve future events to develop business opportunities and maximize ROI. Tracks marketing team performance against goals. Maintains department dashboards and CRM, assures data quality and department procedures are followed.
- Oversee inventory and distribution of collateral. Liaises between Marketing and Business Development teams. Plans Marketing team outings and activities. Anticipates needs of the team and supports as needed. Provides support in budget tracking, expense reports and generating analysis.
- 3-5 years experience in a marketing administrative or coordination role
- 2+ Experience in Event/Tradeshow Execution
- Marketing channel management knowledge
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels, including management & c-suite
- Thorough understanding of the data side of marketing, including tracking ROIs
- Experience working with venues and hotels
- Pro-active, positive βcan-doβ attitude
- Detail-oriented, analytical
- Demonstrated problem solver
- Knowledge of discipline of marketing Crowd compass, Cvent, Salesforce, Zoominfo
