North America Marketing Director
We are looking for a motivated Marketing Leader to oversee our North American marketing team for technology brand Jabra.
In the role of Marketing Director for North America, you will direct the North American marketing team for Jabra, part of the GN Group, managing activities across our partners and channels that support meaningful growth. Working closely, as part of the senior global marketing management team and senior leadership in North America, with key stakeholders to develop the regional
marketing plan aligned to commercial goals
This role is key in showing customers and partners what our solutions can do.
The Team
You will guide the North American marketing team consisting of 15+
multi-disciplined marketers. In this role you will sit on the both the North American Senior Leadership team, with key stakeholders across sales and key commercial functions, and the Marketing Management team, consisting of other regional marketing leads and global functions. You will act as a bridge
between the global marketing team, regional sales, and the regional marketing team to ensure that the overall business and marketing strategy and regional sales and marketing align to deliver growth.
Key Responsibilities for this role
- Digital. Guide activities across key digital platforms and channels including specialist channels like Amazon, by aligning AMS, DSP strategies with overall regional expectations
- Operational Plan ownership. Working with the global marketing team and regional sales team, you will manage the development and implementation of the North America marketing operational plan directly aligned to the marketing strategy and commercial goals.
- Guide and support a diverse marketing team across all regional segments, including partner, distribution, alliances, and end customer marketing. - Budget ownership & control. Oversee and control all parts of the regional marketing budget to maximize spending effectiveness.
- Channel. Create priority partner marketing plans to back joint sales and marketing efforts to expand the Jabra business in key categories
- Measurement, tracking & reporting. Ensure that marketing activities are measured, tracked, and reported against relevant goals
- Stakeholder alignment. Contribute to the NA leadership team, marketing management team, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment of the marketing approach with the overall business plan
- Stay informed about the NA market trends and key competitors to enable Jabra to thrive – ensure this information is shared with the right people. Maintain a deep understanding of the NA market dynamics, key competitors, and how Jabra can perform well – share these insights with relevant stakeholders
What you will bring to the role
- A minimum of 10 years of guiding large marketing teams and understanding the NA market well
- A digital Marketing experience to scale activity to create the best results
- Demonstrated experience with creating marketing plans across multiple channels
- Experience working in a global technology company or managing
- hardware & software product portfolios.
- You will act as a Customer Geek by understanding how to get customers to select Jabra. You will be a Customer Geek by deeply understanding how we can influence customers to choose Jabra. You will take action by concentrating efforts and resources in front of the customer to create change, while collaborating with different teams to boost sales and support partners in their growth
- Exhibit strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to network across functional boundaries and collaborate with others.
- Up to 20% Travel which may include occasional international travel
Pay Transparency Notice: The Salary for this position can range from $150,000 - $200,000. Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skills, and level of experience.
