Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Marketing Director to join our team! This role focuses exclusively on supporting our in-house financial advisory lead-generation brand. The Marketing Director will take ownership of strategy, content, and execution, developing and implementing effective marketing initiatives that drive organic traffic, generate leads, and increase conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive business growth and achieve lead-generation goals.
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Lead the implementation of marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, events, and strategic partnerships.
Overseas product development team, including custom website technology that matches leads with advisors and provides a marketing reporting dashboard to advisors.
Analyze key performance metrics, consumer trends, and campaign results; provide actionable recommendations based on insights.
Adjust and refine marketing plans to align with business objectives and enhance customer understanding.
Equip the sales team with effective tools, materials, and insights to support their efforts.
Oversee brand development, ensuring all materials align with brand guidelines and convey a consistent message across platforms.
Identify new business opportunities and develop actionable strategies to capitalize on them.
Manage and allocate annual marketing budgets to maximize ROI.
Coordinate with external agencies to amplify marketing efforts and ensure seamless collaboration.
Develop analytics strategies to measure and improve campaign effectiveness.
Mentor and guide marketing team members, prioritizing resource allocation and setting clear goals.
Communicate marketing objectives and progress effectively to internal teams and stakeholders.
Foster strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
Ensure all marketing efforts are engaging, proactive, and results-driven, meeting or exceeding business goals.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in an agency or fast-paced environment.
Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience in financial, wealth management, and financial advisory is strongly preferred.
Skills:
Proven experience developing and implementing marketing strategies that drive measurable results.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, CRM, content creation, and marketing automation.
Proficient in analyzing marketing metrics, interpreting trends, and using insights to optimize strategies.
Experience with overseeing a customer development product/project, and working closely with development teams to support customer experience and marketing initiatives.
Experience in both B2B and B2C lead generation.
Skilled in brand development and ensuring consistency across all marketing channels.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong client relationship management skills; adept at maintaining and enhancing relationships with stakeholders and partners.
Experience coordinating with external agencies and maximizing their contributions to marketing efforts.
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide a team toward achieving shared goals.
Highly adaptable, calm under pressure, and solution-focused, with a keen attention to detail.
A strategic thinker with a creative mindset and analytical abilities to solve complex marketing challenges.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas clearly and guiding teams effectively.
Familiarity with marketing tech stacks, Google Analytics, CRM platforms, project management software, landing page systems, attribution and tracking tools, and marketing automation tools.

Our office is in Laguna Beach, CA. While candidates within a nearby radius are highly desired, we are open to remote applicants with the right experience.
