  • Estimated annual base pay:  $101,500(minimum) - $126,900(midpoint) - $152,300(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark?  If you’re a Marketing Communications Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and is responsible for leading a team to develop and execute the annual Marketing Plan.  This plan articulates the go to market strategy, promotional campaigns, marketing channels and budget requirements.  The role is also responsible for development of all marketing collateral as well as management of trade shows and other customer events. 

** This can be a remote role, but you must live in either, CO, CA, IL, MI, OH, FL or WI. Initial training to take place in Colorado and willingness to travel up to 25% (some globally) is required. **

What You Will Be Doing 

  • Work with team members to develop and execute the annual Marketing Plan.  Responsible for delivering results that meet or exceed assigned performance metrics that are connected to overall business objectives.
  • Lead global marketing communications team to include in house or third-party content developers such as, marketing communication specialists, technical writers, graphic artists, photographers, and video producers.
  • Create and maintain all marketing collateral such as brochures, videos, case studies, customer testimonials, white papers, web content, photos, sales presentations, and product specifications.  All external, customer facing content.
  • Develop and implement promotional campaigns such as inbound marketing (email), webinars, trade shows, print/web advertising, press releases, LinkedIn social, and Search Engine Marketing.
  • Develop, coordinate and implement strategies for trade shows, user group conferences and technical conferences including but not limited to booth design/construction, logistics, press release strategy, technical paper presentation strategy/coordination of committee participation.
  • Coordinate internally with appropriate subject matter experts to develop technical papers and presentations in support of targeted trade shows and conferences.
  • Develop tools for maintaining the life cycle of marketing collateral to ensure that only active products are being promoted. 
  • Partner with Industry Marketing team to create accurate representations (personas) of our target customers within our target markets to ensure messaging addresses their needs/problems. 
  • Develop analysis tools to determine how to prioritize marketing spend.  Gather input from Industry Marketing team to help prioritize initiatives. 

 What We Are Looking For 

  • US – bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS) Marketing, communications, business, economics or related field required.
  • 5 + years Industrial marketing communication activities within a B2B environment promoting technical products required.
  • 2+ years of related industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong interpersonal skills.,
  • Demonstrated success in a marketing communications role for a business-to-business technology company.
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing automation software to manage email campaigns, social posting
  • Experience in working as a graphic artist to create marketing content is desirable.
  • Experience in A/B testing for optimizing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Experience coordinating trade and industry events desirable.
  • SEO experience and demonstrated results with the use of Google Ads and Google Analytics.
