We are seeking a professional like you to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting marketing and business development efforts for the North American spray polyurethane foam business. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, sales, and technical teams to help execute and manage product launches and marketing campaigns, support all marketing communications activities and needs, generate and qualify leads, and monitor marketing data.
As a member of Marketing team for the Performance Materials - Spray Foam Business, you will report to the Director, Business Management Spray to provide integrated Marketing Communications solutions with the goal of supporting the growth of the spray foam business through strategic market messaging to direct customers and end users, through all the necessary communication platforms.

- Leveraging your education in Business, Marketing and/or Communications and your skills in Microsoft 365 (Office Suite) and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of tools, you will develop compelling, search-optimized messaging and content for marketing materials, including website pages, online content, e-mail campaigns, advertisements, video scripts, presentations, press releases, brochures and other communications.
- Utilizing your strong understanding of digital marketing, social media trends and best practices as you perform day-to-day website updates and other marketing communications activities to support our spray foam marketing strategy, optimizing customer experience and assisting with social media content publishing and community management.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with media, 3rd party designers, exposition services and other relevant parties, as you contribute to the management of outside vendors to help oversee tradeshow/events and their properties, and the creation, production and inventory of digital assets, literature, technical documents, promotional materials and more.
- Having strong communication and interpersonal skills as you support the planning and execution of corporate tradeshows, customer-facing events and employee conferences, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and event objectives.
- Successfully engaging across the team, you will work with BASF communication colleagues to ensure brand consistency. Additionally, you will be responsible for corporate style and brand guideline compliance.
- Acting as a primary point of contact for external and internal Marketing communications inquiries on US spray foam (toll-free number and group emails, US BASF Sales & customers, etc.)
- Being able to collaborate with and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization to develop and execute an annual communications and media plan for the relevant market segments in the US region.
- Being curious around marketing technology that will then lead you to master our internal customer relationship management (CRM) system Salesforce Sales Cloud. This includes managing lead intake and marketing to qualified leads for relevant business segments through Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
If you have
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial marketing skills with focus on communications, relationship building and strong interpersonal skills.
• Preferably an Associate or Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or equivalent blend of knowledge and experience
• Experience in marketing communications, content development, and social media marketing
• The ability to work independently under broad goals and objectives with minimal guidance and preferably having strong project management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical to this role, as you will be engaging across a wide platform of both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient skills with MS 365 Office Suite as well as Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and Salesforce.
• 5 years of experience in a construction or chemical/industrial industry field would be desired.

Pay transparency
BASF is committed to pay transparency practices. The competitive Pay Range for this role is $80,000 - $110,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
