Ā The Market Finance Analyst identifies, researches, analyzes, and reports on diverse Medicare Advantage market data to optimize financial outcomes with operational effectiveness. This individual is a key member of the Gulf South Region's finance team that will partner closely with Corporate Finance and the local Provider Engagement, MRA (Medicare Risk Adjustment), Clinical & Contracting teams to provide support through analytics and reporting.

  • Provides financial analysis and support for operational finance, developing and publishing performance reports, and tracking financial performance against metrics and goals
  • Demonstrates ability to identify key business and information needs, define data specifications and/or data modeling
  • Establishes a cross-functional relationship with multiple business partners within the organization to ensure the timely, accurate, and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
  • Prepares and distributes actionable analysis and reports that provide insight on financial opportunities for our Medicare Advantage Value-Based Providers in AL, LA, MS and TNĀ Ā 
  • Conducts research and produces reporting using Excel and Power BI of key performance metrics, providing an understanding of how the data reconciles and what it means for current and potential programs
  • Supports a positive customer experience and improved relationships with both internal and external partners

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of financial analysis experience
  • Proficiency in Power BI
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or SAS
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of pivot tables and look-up functions (Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with teammates

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Additional Information

Travel based on business needs. This position can be remote - prefer to be based near Metaire/New Orleans, LA.
