The Market Development Lead will be responsible for driving product marketing strategies and programs consistent with overall business objectives in one segment, utilizing traditional and innovative marketing/product approaches, tools and methodologies.

This role is Territory aligned so preference is candidates in the Northeast Region

What you will do

  • Translate the marketing plan to specific marketing activities to carry out the plan for assigned region
  • Drives the execution of consistent, effective communication with the regional sales teams
  • Intimate regional customer knowledge of their experience with divisions products
  • Maintain customer engagement and deeply understands customer needs
  • Play a role in developing key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, product launch plans, etc
  • Understand competitive dynamics in the market
  • Understand what customers value and how they perceive different attributes of the product or portfolio
  • Create marketing strategies to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between the customer and the product or portfolio
  • Tie the business goal of the product or portfolio to the overall goal of Stryker
  • Synthesize market trends and make recommendations on areas of strategic focus
  • Develop new strategies, sales tools, and communication plans for the product or portfolio
  • Articulate desired communications outcomes consistent with marketing strategy to MarComm team

What you need (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 4+ years of work experience required
  • Healthcare/Medical Device experience required

What you need (Preferred)

  • 2+ years medical device or marketing experience preferred
  • MBA preferred

*$85,500 - $182,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.*

Travel Percentage: 40%
