Compensation: $83,000 - $99,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 7.5% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.
Market Access Business Analyst - Remote
The Market Access Business Analyst will help understand performance levels and trends by providing strong data mining/analysis and research. This role will play an integral role in analyzing performance trends at the payor, product, and client levels, and creating recommendations on how to allocate resources to meet and exceed our business objectives. It will also require a combination of advanced data analysis skills and business acumen to drive actionable insights and strategic decisions for the Market Access Department in terms of Payor collection strategy.
Essential Functions
- Build and refine dashboards that provide insight into product payor trends, collection rates, and client behaviors, etc
- Connect the dots between large amounts of data across multiple sources. Understand the source of observed trend, suggest action and quantify expected business impact
- Leverage Ambry’s RCM reporting functionality (Xifin) to fulfill ad-hoc data requests from Market Access and/or Finance regarding billing/collection trends at the payor, product, and client levels
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of various tactical billing changes for continuous optimization regarding strategic Market Access initiatives
- Leverage advanced financial analytics to inform strategic decision-making, driving substantial business growth and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Operations Analyst, or a related role
- 3+ years of experience in roles requiring advanced data analysis and strategic decision-making
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, simulations through data modeling, etc
- Develop advanced Excel models, including simulations, forecasting, and scenario analysis, to support decision-making
- Build dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx) alongside Excel to visualize key market access metrics
- Passionate about data and analysis
- Strong business acumen
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare or market access analytics is a plus
- Experience in RCM reporting (Xifin) a plus

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
