MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly lead team of six (6) evaluation staff, and serve as primary technical expert to program and study leads across Patient Support Pillar verticals
Oversee development and implementation of all study evaluation plans, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure consistent methodological rigor and appropriate selection and refinement of study measures
Provide oversight of and facilitate skill development for highest-quality program plan documentation, including detailed background, critical evaluation questions, evaluation methods, findings, and recommendations
Ensure efficient operations of evaluation functions in each program area, and provide clear, accurate and explicit feedback based on evaluation results and observations
Oversee development and implementation of all types of data collection plans (using quantitative and qualitative methods) that secure buy-in from all key stakeholders and optimize information flow and reporting capabilities
Lead development of all program-related communication products including literature reviews, standard and ad-hoc reports and recommendations, needs assessments, and environmental scans
Lead development of peer-reviewed publications and presentations across a range of health-related study/program types
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS
Demonstrated expertise in program evaluation, including:
Biostatistics
Mixed methods research design
Implementation science frameworks and approaches
Methods/procedures for multi-site evaluation
Demonstrated skills pertinent to qualitative research, such as:
Interview & focus group guide development
In-person, telephone & online-platform interviewing
In-person & virtual focus group facilitation
Open, axial, and selective coding
Operationalizing constructs and codebook development
Case study development
Demonstrated skills pertinent to quantitative research, such as:
Quantitative survey design, development, and administration
Survey data capture, organization, and reporting
Operationalizing constructs
Application of descriptive statistics and statistical modeling
Metric selection and development
Demonstrated knowledge of data collection/analysis methods and procedures, including textual, thematic and content analysis, along with ethnography, and grounded theory approaches
Proven experience and expertise in data analysis with emphasis on applying advanced statistics principles and performing statistical modeling (comfort with public, community, and population health models preferred)
Experience with data management and statistical analysis software applications like SAS, STATA, SQL, Python, R Programming
Proficiency with relational databases used for data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake)
Solid working knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, and other data visualization software and comfort with large-scale data extraction/aggregation from multiple online survey tools including REDCap
OTHER SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree or PhD (preferred) in Health Research Evaluation, Program Evaluation, Health Systems Research, Healthcare Informatics, Biostatistics, Epidemiology, or similar field
At least eight (8) years relevant experience with health-related research study/program design, evaluation, analysis, and reporting, preferably featuring sophisticated multi-level quantitative and qualitative methods and analyses
Significant portfolio of project management work with demonstrated ability to lead complex project planning and execution initiatives with cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in, adapt to, and lead with positivity in a dynamic environment with fast-changing priorities and multiple concurrent projects
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is home-based (remote); some travel may be required
None/ very limited physical effort or exposure to physical risk
The starting rate is $118,000 to $140,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
