SALARY: $100,000 - $118,750, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:  

The Trade Marketing Manager (TMM) ensures our brand portfolio is effectively activated across events, venues, and in the retail trade while managing overall on-premise channel performance. This dynamic role involves cultivating relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and agency stakeholders to drive execution and maximize brand impact. Flexibility is key, as the TMM balances attending events and engaging with partners during evenings and weekends with the critical tasks of strategic planning, performance analysis, and implementing action plans to deliver continuous improvement. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Senior Commercial Director to develop and present activation plans across all channels and brands, tailored to local properties and events. 

  • Oversee event and venue activations, including sampling execution, ticket management, and mobile asset coordination, ensuring alignment with brand goals and sponsorships. 

  • Manage local sponsorship negotiations, territory-specific budgets, and CAPEX execution for venues in partnership with the On-Premise and Experiential Teams. 

  • Develop and implement on-premise brand programming to drive volume, share growth, and program execution, while optimizing channel-specific pilots and strategies. 

  • Establish and maintain routines to communicate results, prioritize initiatives, and cascade channel brand plans for annual, trimester and quarterly planning. 

  • Monitor and evaluate ROI for channel programs, adjusting plans to improve effectiveness and deliver measurable impact. 

  • Serve as the Takeover Team Captain and coordinate efforts to ensure smooth execution of brand activations in key Chicago neighborhoods. 

  • Build strong partnerships with top wholesalers to align on activation budgets, execution plans, and overall performance goals. 

  • Coach and mentor wholesaler sales teams to ensure effective program delivery and professional development. 

  • Track and report KPIs, including channel volume, share, distribution, and program success, to measure progress and inform future strategies. 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • 5-7 years sales and/or marketing experience 

  • In-depth knowledge of regional marketing and sales organization 

  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external 

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and internal system tools 

  • Must possess an in-depth knowledge of the On-Premise Channel 

Preferred: 

  • At least 5 years experience in Adult Beverage sales or marketing. 

  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities 

  • Beer/alcohol industry knowledge
