The Manager System Eng Infra and App is responsible for overall team delivery of requirements gathering, architecture and design, development, quality assurance, delivery and internal and external support for the platforms and products in their portfolio. Will take local responsibility for the execution, and success of technical projects, operating with scale, speed and quality. Working with other key technology and business leaders, the selected individual will establish best engineering practices and influence them through solid design decisions, processes, and tools across the broader organization. The candidate will oversee multiple teams of mid to senior level engineers and support resources and will work with other areas in the Enterprise Application organization to constantly evolve our strategy to produce better end user outcomes and relevant offerings in the market.
Responsibilities- Team Management: Lead and manage the System Administrators and Application Support team, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the planning, requirements, development, and deployment of enterprise applications, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Participate in planning and prioritization of multiple projects
- Create/review detailed estimates for projects, including resource allocation, timelines and budget.
- Work with the administrators to continuously upgrade platform, prioritizing initiatives that have the biggest impact on technical debt for the enterprise applications that we support
- Maintain the highest level of security, promoting a culture and practice of security awareness.
- Application Support: Provide enterprise application support to resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure system reliability and availability.
- Responsible for conducting and providing supporting evidence for BPA/SOX Audits
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide regular updates, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure high quality documentation for system architectures, deployment processes, and incident reports
- Manage system resources to optimize performance, minimize downtime and maximize scalability
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure applications meet performance and security standards.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
- Training and Development: Support the professional development of team members through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
What we expect of you:
- Bachelor’s degree 7 years of Information Technology, and at least 1 year of management experience. Or 11 years of Information Technology, and at least 1 year of management experience
- Experience: Proven experience in application development, system administration, and team management. Experience with enterprise application support is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management abilities, with a focus on team collaboration and productivity.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or those related to specific technologies and frameworks are a plus.
Pay range: $111,000.00 - $ 154,200.00 depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
