The Agent Experience team is a full-stack engineering team responsible for Agent Portal, a React-based web application which serves Affirm’s team of over 1900 customer service agents and their mission to provide world class support to Affirm’s 15 million customers. We are a close-knit team with a solid culture of ownership, camaraderie, and service. We work closely with teams across the company to deliver high impact and mission-critical solutions throughout the Servicing ecosystem. We are entering an exciting phase where the work we do is seen at the highest levels of the company as being a key enabler of the company’s growth.  

We are looking for a highly motivated engineering manager to empower the team to implement our ambitious goals. What you’ll do

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Analytics teams to implement business critical features enabling new user experiences across the entire stack (mobile, web, backend).

• Create a long term technical roadmap that enables the team to keep up with our fast growing business

• Build a strong engineering culture around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution

• Coach, develop, retain, hire, and provide individual growth plans for team members by mentoring engineers to help them improve their designs, code quality, and testing.

• Establish OKRs and critical metrics to set the engineering team’s direction and measure its success

• Actively participate in making your team and workplace an inclusive environment for people from all backgrounds.

• Build relationships with people across engineering and other organizations for the design, implementation, roll-out and maintenance of projects.

What we look for

• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer with leadership responsibilities, 4+ years of experience building web applications, and 2+ years as an engineering manager
