We’re growing rapidly - looking for collaborative, curious, and motivated team members who are passionate about putting customers first. As a remote-first company we believe in empowering our employees to do their best work, wherever they are.

As the data engine for IT and Security many of the biggest names in the most demanding industries trust Cribl to solve their most pressing data needs. Ready to do the best work of your career? Join the herd and unlock your opportunity.

Why You'll Love This Role

Platform engineering builds the underlying software infrastructure powering Cribl’s diverse suite of products. The Identity Security and Compliance (IDSC) team within Platform focuses on building capabilities such as authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, RBAC, IDP syncing, SCIM provisioning, and credential management. They also lead the charge in securing compliance certifications to unlock customers in highly regulated markets and industries. In short, this team gives the largest, most security and compliance conscious organizations in the world the trust needed to adopt Cribl safely and securely.

This role requires a leader who wishes to remain hands-on and technical, even at the expense of team size. It requires a strong, empathetic manager who can also provide direct technical impact and support for the team. You will attract, retain, and grow diverse talent, ensure the team delivers all its projects on time and with exceptional quality, and be an exemplary manager, mentor, and coach. Yet, you must also be able to pressure test the team’s technical designs, review code, and contribute to the codebase at a senior level or above.

You will be a strong partner to Product Management to create the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Identity Security and Compliance team, ensuring it supports the evolving needs of multiple products and thousands of customers. You will need regular engagement with the latest builds and be expected to become an expert in your team’s products and services, offering technical insights and strategic direction.

If you feel you are a good fit for this role, and passionate about fostering innovation, empowering teams, and making a significant impact in the world of data observability, we’d love to hear from you.
