Location: Remote USA - This role can be performed anywhere from the United States, with working hours following Pacific Time (PT). 

The Role

GoPro’s performance marketing team is seeking a seasoned digital marketer with expertise across both Search and Social, to manage campaign strategy, activation and optimization as part of a new in-house advertising team.  

This exciting new role is an opportunity to build subject matter expertise for paid Search and Social channels within GoPro and shape full-funnel campaign strategies globally, while staying ahead of upcoming ad tech evolutions. Ideally, this candidate has prior experience working in-house and managing a team, activating campaigns in various platforms such as SA360, Meta, and TikTok, with additional Search and Social platforms a bonus.  

What You Will Do

  • Create strategic media plans within search and social initiatives based on larger campaign and company goals 
  • Be the subject matter expert  in all things search, social, and programmatic: Explore and recommend new opportunities within the space including new channels, formats, best practices, targeting capabilities etc. 
  • Own measurement and KPIs: Review performance daily and guide optimizations within platforms 
  • Collaborate with performance marketing peers and in-house creative teams to achieve common goals across the entire media mix 
  • Take ownership of Social/Search/Programmatic budget management  
  • Support an agile marketing approach by developing and executing rapid test & learn plans, performing analysis and reporting out on learning 
  • Work closely with the analytics team on campaign post-mortem development and analysis 
  • Supervise and guide a team of 3 associates  

Skills We’re Excited About

  • Minimum 4 years' experience creating and executing on full-funnel media campaigns within Search, Social, and Programmatic platforms to achieve brand and ecommerce goals, ideally as part of an in-house marketing team 
  • 1+ year in a people management role 
  • Experience executing campaigns within relevant platforms and partners: SA360, Google Ads, Bing, Yahoo, Campaign Manager, Meta, TikTok, Snap, DV360, TTD, Amazon DSP, etc. 
  • Open-minded team player with experience working directly with creative and other marketing teams 
  • Analytical by nature, strives on understanding data to inform strategic decision-making and communicating insights with good story-telling skills 
  • Curious and eager to self-learn and share knowledge about digital imaging space, emerging technologies and ad tech evolutions. 
  • Adaptable, Capable of managing/supporting multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment, willing to be hands-on while thinking strategically 
  • Self-motivated and proactive 
  • Sense of humor and passion for sports, outdoors and/or travel
