THE JOB: Manager, Shared Care

The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.

Starting Salary Range: $92,077 - $115,096


Reporting to the Sr. Manager, SC&SI, the Manager, Shared Care is responsible for the management of the team’s internal and external reporting, project accountability, analytics and team operations functions. This role requires a highly organized, strategic individual who can provide a consistent, transparent and strategic approach to managing SC&SI’s initiatives and deliverables. The Manager will work with a team that supports finance, analytics and reporting; this team is responsible for developing, utilizing, and analyzing evaluative information, quality improvement datasets, analytic tools and applications, and leveraging data across SC&SI and Doctors of BC partners that can be used to draw insights on the impact of SCC funding. On behalf of the SC&SI leadership team, the Manager will provide change-management coordination to support team implementation of organization and department initiatives, support planning team-wide meetings and events, and work to support a high functioning and positive cross-team culture.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Completed graduate university degree AND/OR recognized professional designation in a specialized field, AND up to six years of progressive and related experience; OR having an equivalent level of related work experience in-lieu of post-secondary education.
  • Experience supervising and managing teams in complex systems and working collaboratively with senior and executive management.
  • Demonstrated achievement in quantitative and qualitative research and analysis.
  • Experience managing evaluation, research, or analytical projects.
  • Expertise in, and mastery of, program evaluation and quality improvement
  • Excellent writing skills and proven ability to develop clear concise and comprehensive reports, briefing notes, and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent computer skills required including word processing, spreadsheets, and analytical tools and software (PowerBI, Tableau, or R experience preferred).
  • Strategic and tactical problem-solving approaches, and ability to convert strategic objectives into tangible action plans and results.
  • Experience in knowledge translation and/or supporting learning organizations.
  • Fundamental knowledge of the organization and its interrelated components within the BC healthcare system.
  • Excellent judgment in setting priorities, proactively identifying issues and determining action required when working under pressure and deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse groups of individuals who have varying interests.
  • Experience working with external consultants on analytical projects is an asset.
  • Superior interpersonal, oral communication and relationship management skills.
  • Must be willing to work remotely in a distributed work environment, travel occasionally as required and work outside regular business hours on occasion.
