As our Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting of legislative and regulatory changes and related advocacy efforts as well as supporting the organization’s regulatory compliance program. Every day you will support R1’s comprehensive regulatory strategy, especially as it relates to R1’s services and technology solutions. You will be instrumental in researching and providing guidance on complex and strategic initiatives.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Manager, Regulatory Compliance & Regulatory Affairs:
- Support and execute R1’s regulatory strategy to prepare the business for regulatory change impacting innovation, services, and compliance activities across the organization.
- Research and provide guidance on federal and state health care program (Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, VA, etc.) statutes, regulations, rules and guidance regarding reimbursement, conditions of payments, and other material requirements.
- Communicate vision, deliverables, and project status to senior management and key technical and business stakeholders. Deliver recommendations and risk interpretations in a clear, concise, and audience-specific format.
- Build strong relationships with clients, employees and government policymakers that promotes trust and respect, demonstrating exemplary leadership and deep subject matter expertise.
- Provide leadership and supervise the work and work product of Regulatory Analysts.
- Participate in complex compliance investigations.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as business, law, or compliance. Equivalent industry experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree.
- At least three years of healthcare or regulatory affairs and/or compliance experience.
