It is an exciting time for the Global Sales Training Organization at Dexcom. We are growing our team and adding resources and learning opportunities designed to help our sales organization deliver customer-focused tools & resources that will enable them to support and empower patients.

The sales training team is made up of learning & development professionals with broad skills and levels of experience. The team includes an agile group of Instructional Designers, LMS Systems Administrators, Coordinators & Facilitation experts across multiple regions. They collaborate with each other and within the global matrix of the commercial organization to ensure optimal sales enablement is achieved for our sales leaders & sales professionals.

Where you come in:

  • This matrixed role reports to the Director of Sales Training - North America, with whom you will build trust and partner with peers & senior business partners across the commercial organization.

  • You will lead a regional field sales training team who are focused on coaching sales representatives and clinical account managers for improved performance with the use of the Dexcom selling model, marketing and clinical education materials.

  • In working closely with the sales leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying the business and training needs regionally and nationally, and work closely with Sales Training Design & Development to create and implement customized training programs.

  • You will demonstrate and leverage your leadership, sales training & development, and technical skills to manage multiple training programs relating to new hires, active sales teams and national sales meetings.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you will work with the Sr. Manager of Instructional Design & Development and Sr. Manager of Corporate Sales Trainings to help develop and pull through the sales training strategy for new hire onboarding, on-going training, and continuous learning programs for sales teams.

  • Your skills will allow you to lead sales trainers who are adaptable in a dynamic work environment to lead or execute on training projects with live instructor lead formats or virtual presentations.

What makes you successful:

  • You have demonstrated, proven success in a life-sciences, and training & development position. You are extremely organized and can work in collaboration within the organization. The ideal candidate would have a diabetes-disease state background along with field sales experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales.

  • Your understanding of the competencies of medical and/or pharmaceutical sales representatives and their leadership is essential to lead the regional field sales training team.

  • You have strong communication skills that allow you to work closely with the VP of Sales and Regional Sales Directors to implement the national and regional sales strategy through our regional field trainers.

  • You're an effective coach and will develop your regional field sales training team for strong results & career growth.

  • You are fluent in the English language and possess excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.

  • Your willingness to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and/or evening work with overnight travel to regional/corporate headquarter meetings will ensure your customers commitments are met.

Travel Required:

  • 50 - 75%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.

  • 2 - 5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km). If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available. Ask about our Flex workplace option.

Salary:

$105,800.00 - $176,300.00 Apply
