RemoteCollins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Systems Manager to lead our Strategic Advancement Interiors Compliance team. This team is responsible for Document Management, Compliance Reporting, Certification Management, and Process Efficiency Assessments. Additionally, the Quality Systems Manager will provide ad-hoc support for the Interiors Audit Program.
The ideal candidate will champion industry-standard compliance, foster cross-functional collaboration, and drive a culture of quality excellence. This role requires strong leadership, extensive document management expertise, a solid grasp of internal audits and corrective action processes, and the ability to establish robust compliance reporting mechanisms. The Quality Systems Manager will oversee a dedicated compliance team while partnering with various departments to implement effective strategies that enhance compliance and efficiency.
This role may have up to 40% travel.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and continuously improve the Interiors Documentation Management Program.
- Oversee certification management initiatives for the Interiors organization, supporting site teams and ensuring smooth transitions to new certifying bodies.
- Establish and implement a robust Compliance Reporting Program for Interiors.
- Support the implementation of One Collins Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures that align with business goals and industry standards.
- Conduct comprehensive quality management system audits for participating sites, prepare detailed reports, and facilitate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Interiors Strategic Business Unit sites to address nonconformance's and promote best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements and audit processes.
- Prepare and present compliance updates and reports to senior leadership.
- Stay informed on industry regulations and standards to ensure ongoing organizational compliance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance or quality management.
- Demonstrated expertise in document management and implementing effective solutions.
- Experience managing corrective actions and driving resolution processes.
- Strong understanding of ETQ systems and their reporting capabilities
- Experience with Microsoft Suite, Tableau, and SharePoint design
- Experience with Project Management and Lean Process Improvement (CORE)
- Lead Auditor Certification in AS9100 is required (AS9110 also preferred).
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with FAA regulatory requirements, particularly Parts 21G and 145, is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
