Job Summary: We are seeking a Manager, QA to define and scale our quality assurance strategy. You will lead a QA organization taking full ownership in ensuring that our Payment and Banking asService Platform meets high standards of quality and reliability. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in quality assurance practices, managing and scaling high performing teams, and a strong understanding of technology and payments and financial software.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop, implement, and report on a comprehensive QA strategy and plan for testing financial software.

• Build, lead, and manage a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and excellence.

• Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities, including functional, and performance tests.

• Drive the adoption of new QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Identify potential risks in the software development lifecycle and propose solutions to mitigate them.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to ensure quality standards are met.

• Develop and implement a test automation strategy to increase testing efficiency and coverage.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including PCI.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

• 6+ years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance experience, testing complex payments and financial Saas applications.

• Experience driving adoption of Software Quality Assurance best practices across various teams and roles.

• Knowledge of test automation tools and technologies, and how to effectively leverage them in your overall testing strategy.

• Define and track key QA metrics, fostering continuous improvement through data-driven insights.

• Track record of successful collaboration with software development teams in an agile environment.

• Detail-oriented, with clear written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities, including the ability to hire and retain high-performance Software Quality Assurance professionals.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Real Estate or Property Management verticals.

• Experience with treasury and risk management solutions.

• Familiarity with micro services, cloud architectures, and security standards.

• Skill with programming languages such as NodeJS, Java or Python.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Compensation range: $112,000 USD/$160,000 CAD

Traditional Physical Requirements:
