Compensation Pay Range:

$155,625.00 - $191,164.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.  Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Manager Program Management leads a team of project managers to successfully deliver IT projects. Collaborate with IT leaders to implement and continuously improve Iterative and Agile project management practices that improve project outcomes. Maintain responsibility and accountability for successful delivery of projects that meet organizational goals and deliver business value.

This position can be worked remotely in the United States with monthly travel to Springfield, MO.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Lead a team of project managers to ensure successful delivery of IT projects to deliver business value across technology and business functions

Develop a vision for improving the value created by the Program Management office by transforming and continuously improving services offered and implementing additional services that improve solution delivery

Collaborate with solution delivery teams and leadership to implement, standardize and improve project management processes across the IT department

Co-create and implement improvements and best practices that drive improved department outcomes (e.g., Agile, Lean, Dev Ops, etc.)

Coach and advise project managers and teams on the best application, implementation and utilization of project management approaches such as Scrum, Kanban, Agile, Lean, and Iterative Waterfall within a fast-paced, high tech environment

Coach project managers on how to improve soft-skills including facilitation, mediation, relationship-building, and improving team dynamics

Support successful delivery of projects, programs and the portfolio by improving prioritization, estimation, planning, scheduling, slotting and resourcing of projects

Maintain a broad knowledge of project management, solution delivery, quality assurance, hardware/infrastructure and IT operations practices such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, DevOps, ITIL, etc.

Manage project management personnel, including work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and make recommendations for personnel actions; motivate employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.

Identify and utilize the appropriate tools and techniques to manage programs and projects with varied characteristics, focusing on results over processes

Partner with IT and functional leadership to recover from impacts to projects and accommodate changing business needs.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Experience with project management tools, techniques, methodologies and processes

Experience with different types of technology solution delivery methodologies including Waterfall and Agile

Knowledge of software application development concepts and practices

Knowledge of information technology concepts and practices including networking, hardware, and infrastructure

Knowledge of quality assurance concepts and practices

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment Excellent facilitation and mediation skills

Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness

Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills with ability to conduct presentations comfortably to large groups

Proven experience in providing service to internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes

Advanced planning abilities, organizational skills, and problem solving abilities

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical individuals

Ability to manage by influence using courage, sound judgement, trustworthiness, and candor

Desired:

Experience with Agile transformation, organizational change management, and/or process improvement initiatives

Experience in a similar role leading teams to deliver IT projects and solutions

Experience working in retail store operations or eCommerce

Experience in the auto parts industry
