THE JOB: Manager, Practice Support Service Delivery
The starting salary range falls within the minimum to mid-point of the salary range.
Starting Salary Range: $90,640 - $113,300
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Practice Support Delivery the Manager, Practice Support Service Delivery works collaboratively within the PTmanagement team to ensure the delivery of high quality practice support services across the province. These services are dedicated to supporting improvements in primary care in the family practice setting while developing quality improvement capacity across practice teams through a tailored practice facilitation approach. The Manager, Practice Support Service Delivery is responsible for the performance management of the Practice Improvement Coaches
Working closely with key partners (e.g. Divisions of Family Practice, health authorities, Ministry of Health, etc.) in the community, the Manager, Practice Support Service Delivery ensures practice support services are delivered in alignment with FPSC direction and practice and community needs to realize the attributes of the Patient Medical Home and Primary Care Networks. The Manager, Practice Support Service Delivery ensures the successful implementation of practice support services and operational activities by their team and works closely with PT senior managers to raise and resolve issues and communicate primary care support needs.

WHAT YOU BRING
- A Bachelor’s, degree and/or recognized professional designation, and up to four years of progressive and related experience.
- Experience supervising and managing teams in complex systems and working collaboratively with senior and executive management.
- Demonstrated expertise with stakeholder relations and cross-organizational partnerships, especially related to helping diverse groups to develop and work together towards shared goals and improved collective impact
- Experience in managing a wide variety of projects simultaneously
- Experience with planning, evaluation, performance measurement, and change management strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to develop clear, concise and comprehensive communication and reports
- Superior consultation and meeting facilitation skills
- Capacity to self-manage a varied, flexible work schedule to meet the needs of participating physicians, while ensuring appropriate work-life balance and the need to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Solid understanding of the BC healthcare system and demonstrated understanding of medical staff clinics and practices. Knowledge of Doctors of BC and its associated programs is an asset.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PC based software, particularly Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be willing to travel within the province.
