The Active RF Systems organization is looking to fill a Manager of Programs 2 position. The primary objective will be the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements. The individual(s) will lead a cross-functional organization aligned to common performance goals related to investment projects and/or customer contracts. This position is based in Linthicum, MD
Program Managers are responsible for coordination and management of all phases of program execution, from inception through completion. In this position, the selected Program Manager may oversee one or more programs within the organization.
Based on the requirements of each program, the responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Adherence to all internal processes for Program Management
Leading and directing a cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to achieve technical objectives
Development and adherence to Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
Development and adherence to budget baselines
Development and delivery of presentations to leadership and program stakeholders
Proposal development / capture planning and strategy
Creation, review and finalization of the program Statement of Work
Establishment of schedule milestones and spend-plan
Development of stakeholder relationships and cultivation of stakeholder intimacy
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years (or Master’s degree and 6 years) relevant experience.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Top-Secret SCI approval/access.
4 years program or project management experience, leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost, and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team lead, or cost account manager
Demonstrated success aligning teams, organizations, or employee resource groups to achieve a common goal.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance.
The ability to manage communications with stakeholders through organized processes to ensure that program information is defined, collected, shared, understood, stored and retrieved in a manner that effectively meets program and stakeholder needs.
The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive, approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts across all levels of the program.
