The Manager, Regulatory – Crop Nutrition, reporting to the Director, North America Regulatory, will lead the Crop Nutrition regulatory team, managing state and federal registrations and compliance for Nutrien’s Crop Nutrition portfolio in the USA and Canada. This role requires expertise in US and Canadian regulations, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic planning. The candidate will oversee label reviews, develop regulatory processes, and stay current with regulatory changes and industry trends.

What you will do:
- Provide leadership and direction for the Crop Nutrition regulatory team.
- Implement product registration strategies to align with and support business strategies.
- Work with R&D, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Legal to establish regulatory strategies that support business goals and market expansion.
- Maintain product registration status, renewal times, submission status, and compliance activities.
- Oversee the review and approval of product labels to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate with third parties on activities, research permits, and monitoring field studies.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes, assess impacts, and implement necessary compliance changes.
- Develop and improve internal regulatory processes to streamline operations and ensure efficient EPA compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders to resolve technical or regulatory issues.
- Conduct training sessions on regulatory requirements, policies, and best practices.
- Oversee hiring, training, development, performance management, and other HR activities in compliance with company policies.
- Engage in corporate policies, programs, and practices to bring Nutrien’s Culture of Care to life.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline (preferably chemistry, biology, agronomy, etc.). Postgraduate degrees are an asset.
- 8+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, with a focus on fertilizer/biostimulant registration and compliance.
- Preferred 2 years’ experience in a Leadership role.
- Strong understanding of US and Canadian fertilizer regulations.
- Technical understanding of product specifications and quality control.
- Proven experience in developing and executing regulatory strategies.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Willingness to share knowledge and learn from others.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office, Smartsheet, regulatory software and databases.
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $95,700 - $177,800/annually (United States) or $110,200 - $204,500/annually (Canada). These ranges are estimated for a Manager, North America Regulatory - Crop Nutrition in the United States or Canada. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Details will be discussed through the application process.
