Meet the team:

Dexcom is a leader in diabetes management technology and is proactively developing solutions to address new and expanding areas of opportunity for diabetes treatment, and improved health.  The US is the largest market with significant growth opportunities, and the trade team will be instrumental in achieving our goals.  This leader will shape the trajectory of Dexcom’s success in the growing CGM category and will be poised for future growth opportunities within an evolving and dynamic company.

Where you come in:

  • The New Business Development Manager, eCommerce Marketplaces role will be responsible for building our 3-PL partnerships, growing our marketplace business, and establishing new marketplace expansion partnerships.    
  • You will develop the strategy and tactics necessary to grow YoY sales, volume, and margin performance for our OTC CGM products. 
  • You will work with our marketplace partners to ensure Dexcom products sell-through is performing from product placement on the marketplace, availability in the network and through other merchandising and promotional tactics which drive category leading performance. 
  • As the channel lead, you will set annual performance metrics and make strategic adjustments to achieve company performance ambitions. 
  • You will harness insights through data to inform the NBD team as well as share out more broadly learnings on how the channel is performing and how consumers are engaging with the product and category within these digital partnerships. 

What makes you successful:

  • You have experience in building a high performing business on the Amazon and other 3rd party seller marketplaces. 
  • You understand the broader e-commerce landscape and understand the strategic and commercial considerations required to run a 3-p seller business.  You know when and how to transition from a 3-P to 1-P seller on Amazon and other major retailer online stores. 
  • You have experience and an understanding of the various tools and tactics which can affect commercial outcomes. 
  • You understand the principles of category management online and how to influence change with our partners through building compelling sell-stories and data. 
  • You understand how to engage cross-functionally in a matrixed organization and understand how to collaborate and influence outcomes across all stakeholders in the process of bringing the product to the shelf.

Travel Required:

  • 25 to 50%

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
