We are looking for a seasoned data science leader for our Member Engagement & Experiences domain. In this role, you will need to be both technical and strategic and play a critical part in the evolution of our service to support a broader suite of entertainment offerings. You will be a business leader who deeply influences cross-functional strategy and culture and drives technical excellence in analysis and decision-making for products and algorithms. Your team’s expertise will cover various disciplines including causal inference, AI/ML, stats/analytics, econometrics, quant psychology, etc.

Responsibilities
- Lead strong partnerships with stakeholders from across the business - from product management, engineering, merchandising and marketing, consumer insights, finance, design, etc.
- Act as an ambassador for member impact grounded in data and great judgment
- Hire, inspire, and grow high-performing data scientists and analysts. Instill an inclusive culture that is creative and collaborative, both within your team and in the broader organization
- Develop a team charter and roadmaps that optimize for business impact and technical excellence
- Ensure that your team is producing consistently trustworthy and high-quality technical outputs that influence the business
