Manager, IT Network & Collaboration Services

As the leader of CyraCom's Network and Collaboration Services team, you will oversee the operations of the network and voice systems. Your goal is to ensure the stability of the network and voice platforms and related systems, be an advocate for your team, and be the liaison between your team’s critical functions to the business and team members that we serve.

As the Manager, IT Network and Collaboration Services, you will:

  • Direct and optimize operations of the Collaboration and Network team while also providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to its members.
  • Work to develop and measure the team's effectiveness and look for opportunities to improve performance.
  • Effectively manage engineer level IT professionals both local and remote.
  • Stay current on your team’s intake and output of work.
  • Manage inventory of all network and collaboration hardware, software, and support contracts.
  • Monitor network and collaboration systems performance and usage to forecast growth rates and alert the business to any changing needs.
  • Manage multiple project priorities and enable your team to meet established milestones and deliverables.
  • Communicate and manage expectations during problem resolution and act as a point of escalation.
  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting of IT infrastructure needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to support all IT Infrastructure Services and ensure vendor performance and compliance meets CyraCom’s requirements.
  • Participate in the Incident Response Manager on-call rotation to act as a point contact during business impacting emergencies.

As the Manager, IT Network and Collaboration Services, you must have:

  • Firm understanding of ITIL Process guidelines (ITIL certification preferred).
  • Experience with Asset Management and managing inventory.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • An ability to act quickly, pragmatically, and assertively under pressure to prioritize and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize day-to-day activities and long-term project-oriented tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience working in a network and/or collaboration engineer role.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience.

Where would you work?

This is a permanently remote role, and can be done from anywhere in the continental US. Occasional travel may be required.

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Demands: This position is required to sit most of the time and exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently. This position is required to continuously sit, talk, hear, see, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat.
  • Environmental Factors: This position works in an indoor office environment with a quiet level of office noise.
  • Equipment Operated: Personal computer, printer, copier, fax and telephone equipment.

Benefits Highlights & Compensation Highlights

This position is expected to start between $140,000.00 and $160,000.00 annually, depending on experience.
