ROLE OVERVIEW
LifeStance Health is looking for a Manager, Internal Communications to join its communications team. You will report to the Sr. Director, Communications and play a key role in supporting LifeStance Health’s internal communications program, with a heavy focus on delivering high-quality content and written materials. Priorities include creating compelling internal content and campaigns; managing LifeStance’s internal company intranet; partnering with LifeStance’s external communications and social teams to ensure cohesion across channels; and project management to ensure strict adherence to timelines. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional writer and messaging strategist who is comfortable driving day-to-day tactical execution.
COMPENSATION: $105,000 - 120,000/annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own LifeStance’s company intranet from end-to-end
Own the management of department newsletters
Communicate team-specific and company-wide initiatives through strategic, creative and inclusive employee engagement campaigns
Work closely with stakeholders to develop messaging and storytelling that inform and inspire employees
Create clear, compelling messages around the company’s vision, priorities and programs; effectively craft communications to meet employee communication preferences
Support with the development and execution of virtual and in-person all-hands meetings and leadership meetings, providing counsel and coaching to presenters and coordinating logistics
Research, write and produce multimedia assets that clearly and concisely tell compelling stories
Measure and improve the effectiveness of messaging, channels and practices across a large, diverse employee population
Source and manage videography vendors in local markets
Identify emerging internal communications trends (content formats and subject matter)
Manage multiple projects at once with excellent attention to detail; demonstrate strict adherence to deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in public relations, journalism, communications or a related field
6-8 years of experience in strategic communications, public relations, copywriting or journalism
SharePoint experience strongly preferred
Graphic design experience preferred, but not required
Project management experience required
Exceptional writing skills are a must; the ideal candidate is well-versed in AP style and has significant experience writing high-quality messaging, collateral and materials
Strong verbal communication skills are critical
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects from start to finish, while also being an excellent collaborator
Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with all levels of company management
Genuine interest in mental health and LifeStance’s mission
