Overview

The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for managing day to day tele sales activities. This role is accountable for meeting sales revenue goals and other metrics. The Inside Sales Manage is responsible for developing and coaching their team of Inside Sales Representatives.

 

Position Pay Range - $68,000 - $85,000 (Any offered salary is determined on internal equity, internal salary ranges, applicant's skills, market /data ranges and prior relevant experience).  This role partcipates in the annual sales bonus program

 

The hours for the position will be 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM  EST

 

The position is 100% Remote however you must be centrally located in one of the states listed below:

Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day workflow of the tele sales activities. Responsible for daily leadership and contributing to the overall business goals of the department. Ensure staff provides sales and service to customers, process orders, answer and troubleshoot customer inquiries, needs and requirements; and provide after-sales services to customers. Build relationships with customers through follow-up services.
  • Accountable for various metrics and sales revenue goals. Support changes in sales strategies. Perform various analysis and forecasts on products, staffing, services, etc. Ensure effective operation of the department by maintaining work standards for quality and quantity of work. Assist and support sales team members to achieve outcomes.
  • Employee development and coaching. Lead and guide sales representatives to develop sales opportunities. Assist and support sales team members to achieve outcomes. Assist and guide team members to resolve and troubleshoot complex sales and service issues of customers.
  • Ensure compliance of corporate policies, procedures and standards. Ensure work processes are current, implemented and routinely updated to maintain business needs.
  • Lead and build team, recruit, train, retrain (as needed), and develop a bench strength that ensures the continuity of the business. Create an environment that focuses on excellence and team work.
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder’s supervisor, may also be required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and at least 2 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office, Enterprise Relationship Planning (ERP), call center technology, and other various computer programs including presentation software
  • Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and Reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
  • For business continuity, must be able to work remote, as required
  • Able and willing to work evening hours, holidays, and weekends, as required
  • Ability to leverage expertise to reduce costs and improve efficiencies.
  • Comfortable driving change & embracing innovation in complex, ambiguous environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
  • Proven knowledge of and ability to implement customer service and sales best practices

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to remain in a stationary position at times; communicate, and operate a computer and telephone

Competencies:

  • May help coordinate the work of junior members of the team.
  • Resolves issues which are often varied and non-routine. Undertakes analysis and investigation to solve issues.
