Manager, Global Supply Chain Finance (Eyewear)
Remote NY - R3
Lead the Marchon global pricing team and member of both the global finance and global supply chain leadership teams.
Partner with leaders of Global Marketing, Merchandising and Brand on Marchon’s global pricing strategy for current and new eyeglass frame releases.
Lead the implementation of global, market-based prices for all Eyewear channels including licensor boutiques, distributors, independent opticians, retail, etc.
Partner with Eyewear Sourcing and Product Design to identify and implement cost savings in eyewear products.
Identify improvement opportunities in the global pricing function from product design to ready for sale and lead the improvement initiatives.
Drive savings projects across both cost of goods and distribution expenses, in support of the Marchon 5 Year Strategic Plan.
Collaborate with the supply chain team to minimize excess inventory and associated obsolescence expenses.
Evaluate current global price positions and estimate impacts of revisions based on market pressure in order to balance price positions and profitability.
Direct the preparation of financial reports and key performance indicators for pricing, gross margin profitability, inventory and global logistics operations. Interpret results and identify key issues, trends, and opportunities for enhancements to leadership.
Develop and ensure adherence to key controls and procedures in order to safeguard corporate assets and maintain accurate financial records for inventory and the supply chain function, both domestically and internationally.
Develop and ensure adherence to key controls in order to ensure Marchon’s pricing and discounting policies are being followed in order to protect and/or improve gross margins.
Coordinate the financial audit of inventory and key reserves across all global locations.
Direct management of a local team and matrix interaction international supply chain-focused finance colleagues.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 3 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work and managing performance of direct reports
CPA certification or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with inventory product flow and associated transactions.
Strong knowledge of ERP systems is required.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to articulate difficult concepts into easy to understand formats for management.
Strong commercial acumen and superior analytical skills required.
Proven track record of influencing constituents for optimal results and demonstrated managerial courage.
Excellent organization skills, detail-oriented, and ability to multitask.
