Manager, FP&A

NYC or Remote

Olo was born out of a simple idea: What if you could order and pay for a coffee from your phone and have it ready upon arrival at the cafe? We got to work in 2005, sending text message orders to printers—two years before the iPhone would change the world.
Today, Olo operates as a leading SaaS platform accelerating digital transformation in the restaurant industry. Our Order, Pay, and Engage solutions enable hospitality at scale, help restaurants deliver more personalized and profitable guest experiences, and enable brands to do more with less - making every guest feel like a regular.
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join the revenue planning and analysis function of the organization. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will own Olo’s revenue forecast model with a heavy focus on driving forecast predictability across key revenue metrics (ACV, ARR, Revenue, Active Locations, ARPU, etc.). You will help drive decision making around a complex revenue model that requires inputs from cross-functional teams (GTM, CX, Product, S&O, others) and an understanding of platform/product and macro trends.
To ensure strong forecast accuracy and alignment with business trajectory, you must be effective at partnering with cross-functional teams and questioning inputs, while having strong attention to detail, curiosity and a data-driven attitude. While your initial focus will be on revenue, over time you will have the opportunity to expand your role and collaborate with leaders across GTM (Go-To-Market) as a strategic thought partner, managing investments to drive revenue and optimizing overall functional P&Ls.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and improve revenue forecast models, capturing all variables that can potentially impact revenue such as implementation timing, order volumes, upsells, churn, etc.
  • Work closely with the Olo Go-To-Market (Sales Strategy & Growth, CX) team to gather insights into future revenue and product monetization opportunities, incorporating inputs into what-if scenarios/ad hoc analyses.
  • Support annual planning, budget and forecast cycles with respect to revenue planning.
  • Investigate and communicate variances between Actuals and Forecasts, while highlighting trends and potential risks and opportunities for Olo. Share findings with the CFO, Investor Relations, and other key stakeholders.
  • Define and monitor key revenue drivers and develop dashboards for company-wide and executive-level consumption.
  • Be a subject matter expert on customer acquisition/sales funnels and related SaaS performance metrics (LTV, CAC, Net Magic Number etc.), as well as customer engagement dynamics; understand, analyze, and communicate related market & channel trends.
  • Create ad-hoc analyses to drive business strategy, improve efficiency and maximize ROI.
  • Assist in preparation of materials for Board of Director meetings and internal leadership meetings.
  • Work with FP&A team members to identify and implement best practices, driving to better efficiency with our tools and simplification of cross-departmental processes.

What We’ll Expect From You

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (CFA a plus) or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in finance, strategic planning, investment banking, or related fields. FP&A function experience is strongly preferred. Restaurant experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
  • Highly proficient in financial analysis and model building.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Sheets/Slides. SQL knowledge is a plus but not required.
