NFP Retirement, Inc. is seeking a Financial Education Manager.
The Manager, Financial Education works directly with the leadership of NFP Financial Education to assist and manage the successful implementation of NFP Financial Education. This position will also work to integrate Financial Education with our NFP Wealth Management success. This position will be responsible for the creation of Financial Education content/ strategy, the training of our financial educators, and the oversight of their success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide financial education support to all financial coaches and wealth managers in all areas of financial planning
· Oversee and manage all financial education content
· Customize financial education curriculum on topics to accommodate client requests
· Provide financial education training to our financial coaches and wealth advisors on financial planning topics
· Provide financial education training on advanced financial planning topics
· Examples: tax strategies, estate planning strategies, risk management strategies
· Teach financial coaches how to build better relationships with clients
· Assist in the RFP process for financial education opportunities
· Manage the successful implementation of NFP Virtual Series
· Manage the successful implementation of NFP Workplace Solutions
· Manage the successful implementation of NFP Pathways Academy
· Prepare financial educational materials for client meetings; work with other internal teams to ensure client meetings are prepared for thoroughly and accurately
· Assist with client data consolidation and maintenance as needed
· Assist with special projects as required
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
· Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated in communications with both external and internal clients
· Ability to work independently and in a team setting
· Ability to anticipate and meet client and team needs
· Demonstration of project management and consulting skills
· Demonstration of a commitment to accuracy by delivering high quality work
· Effective time management and decision-making skills
· Ability to express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with any CRM, portfolio management or financial planning software is a plus
· Must have knowledge of advanced financial planning advice
· Must have the ability to present financial planning topics in an educational forum to be easily understood
· Ability to create financial educational curriculum in an appropriate format that will allow people to act
· Demonstrate passion for creating positive financial outcome for people
Education and/or Experience:
· Four-year College Degree.
· Minimum of 5 years of financial service experience preferred
· Securities Registration preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
· Series 6,63, and 65 or Series 7, 66

The base salary range for this position is $79,000 – $120,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
