The Fire Design Team is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Manager - Engineering Services. This position will be overseeing associates and will report to the Senior Manager - Engineering Services.

This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Directs and supports fire sprinkler design engineering team.
  • Develops standard processes for completing design team tasks. Provides regulary feedback and supervision to design staff for adherence to standard processes, ensure quality of work, monitor work load and work progress. Manage PPP employees and administers work unit program including coordinating and maintaining work unit budget across team. Manage customer expectations and provides quotations to customers for design services.
  • Facilitates the development of strong operations teams, implementing recruitment, training and mentoring programs that result in a capable and motivated workforce.
  • Collaborates with Design Managers and Leadership to develop communication channels and work processes that facilitate effective fire sprinkler design service delivery to customers.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in interpreting engineering/architectural drawings and blueprints.
  • 10 years of Fire Sprinkler design experience preferred
  • NICET Certification Preferred
